Joseph Knight left the Urban Institute in January 2021.

Joseph Knight is a senior contracts administrator in the Office of Grants, Contracts, Purchasing, and Pricing at the Urban Institute. He monitors and supports grants, contracts, and other agreements in pre- and postaward functions.

Before joining Urban, Knight worked in research administration roles in the Washington metropolitan area, including numerous roles and functions at the Children’s Research Institute and more recently at the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute.

Knight graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with a BS in management and organization and from the George Washington University with an MSc in project management. He also holds certifications as a Certified Research Administrator from the Research Administrators Certification Council and as a Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute.
