John Rogers is executive vice president, treasurer, and chief financial officer for the Urban Institute, where he plays a key role in financial and strategic decisionmaking and oversees Urban's administrative and financial operations.
Before joining Urban in 2000, Rogers led the Applied Economics Group at KPMG Consulting, where he was responsible for a wide range of global consulting activities. Earlier in his career he held positions with the US government and with Price Waterhouse-Tokyo.
Rogers received his undergraduate training at Duke University and his MPP from the University of Pittsburgh. He serves on the boards of Mary Baldwin College, the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public and International Affairs, and the Washington Men's Camerata.
