Jemila Morrison is a project manager in Urban Institute’s Executive Office, supporting the president and chief of staff. She provides institutional management and governance support for the Board of Trustees.  

Before joining Urban, Morrison worked with local nonprofit Martha’s Table, providing research and governance support in addition to implementing community-based programming.

A graduate of North Carolina Central University, Morrison also holds a master’s degree in public administration with a concentration in nonprofit management from the University of the District of Columbia.

Morrison provides consulting services related to nonprofit governance and grant compliance.
