Ilana Brody is a research assistant in the Metropolitan Housing and Communities Policy Center at the Urban Institute. She evaluates financial and education interventions, assesses federal policy programs, and provides technical assistance support to place-based initiatives and human service organizations. Before joining Urban, Brody attended the University of Virginia, where she conducted social psychological research about decisionmaking and social behavior. For her thesis, she studied the social psychological influences on long-term goal pursuit. Brody graduated with high distinction with a BA in psychology and economics.
