I am interested in community safety and providing pathways by which people have the tools they need (housing, food, mental health access, etc.) to be safe and successful.
Bess Cohen is a special assistant and project administrator in the Justice Policy Center at the Urban Institute. She supports the vice president for justice policy by managing her calendar, finances, and correspondences with internal and external stakeholders, as well as providing center-wide project assistance and operational support. She also performs financial and project management tasks to support the center. Cohen graduated from Haverford College in 2019 with a major in sociology and a concentration in peace justice and human rights.
