Aristotle Jones is the government affairs coordinator at the Urban Institute. He assists with various outreach projects, coordinates logistics for meetings with policymakers and stakeholders, and monitors congressional, administration, state, and local public policy proposals.

Before joining Urban, Jones was the legislative and communications assistant at America’s Public Television Stations, where he maintained the press and legislative databases and created content and maintained the legislative website. Previously, he was a program assistant for domestic policy at the Friends Committee on National Legislation, where he researched and lobbied federal public policy for criminal justice reform, campaign finance, and police militarization. Early in his career, he worked in the Indiana House of Representatives working on legislative and constituent services.

Jones has a bachelor’s degree from Tuskegee University.
