Alana Kasindorf is a project manager in the Research to Action Lab at the Urban Institute, where she oversees a robust pipeline of research-based communication products and initiatives. Before joining Urban, Kasindorf served as the assistant director of program development at an international advocacy organization, managing the planning and execution of over 15 delegations to the Middle East each year. She also has public relations experience across various for-profit and nonprofit organizations, where she supported a variety of clients across the education sector.
Kasindorf holds a master’s degree in strategic communication from American University and a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Rochester. She has been a featured speaker at several women’s empowerment conferences for organizations including the Women’s League of Conservative Judaism and the Association of American University Women.
