Although the entire nation was affected by September 11th, the residents of New York and Washington have felt the most dramatic impact. And even though more than a billion dollars have been raised nationwide for relief efforts, many local nonprofits are uncertain whether that will mean cutbacks in contributions for them, even as the need for services increases. Linda Lampkin of the Urban Institute joins Kojo Nnamdi to discuss regional philanthropy following September 11th.
