1999 NSAF: Poverty By State

Abstract

This table presents estimates of the number of persons under age 65 whose family income places them above or below the 200% of the Federal Poverty level in 1999. Separate child (ages 0 to 17) and adult (ages 18 to 64) estimates are broken out for the nation as a whole and in 13 states: Alabama, California, Colorado, Florida, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, New Jersey, New York, Texas, Washington, and Wisconsin.
