The American City Coalition, Oak Hill Development

Few demonstrations model a range of service delivery options for public housing residents, and even fewer focus on those deemed hardest to house.

In HOST's first implementation in a privately owned and managed mixed-income community, the American City Coalition has contracted the Urban Institute to implement the HOST model within the Oak Hill apartments. Housing Opportunities Unlimited (HOU) is providing supportive services for Oak Hill residents. HOST will help HOU integrate its offerings with those of other local agencies and nonprofit organizations to enhance quality of life, health outcomes, and education and economic opportunities for Oak Hill residents.
