CCDF Policies Database

The CCDF Policies Database project is funded by the Office of Planning, Research and Evaluation (OPRE).

This project produces a comprehensive, up-to-date database of child care subsidy policies for the 50 states, the District of Columbia, and the US territories and outlying areas.  The database contains hundreds of variables designed to capture the Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) policies across time.  The policies captured in the database are collected primarily from the states’ caseworker policy manuals and include families’ initial and ongoing eligibility and application requirements, copayment information, provider policies, reimbursement rates, and several other categories of information.
