Sharon K. Long ![]() Sharon K. Long, Ph.D., is a principal research associate and an applied economist with over twenty years experience conducting quantitative and qualitative policy research. Her current work includes evaluating health reform initiatives in Massachusetts and Florida. In other work, she is studying the effects of Medicaid managed care on access and use for disabled beneficiaries, the effects of rising premiums on insurance coverage, the effectiveness and efficiency of care delivery in managed care, and child obesity.
