Sara Hogan ![]() Sara Hogan is a research associate who joined the Urban Institute in 2008. She conducts policy research and program evaluation with an emphasis on maternal and child health issues. Her current work includes evaluation of health insurance coverage expansion initiatives targeting low-income children and their families, analysis of Medicaid enrollment processes for pregnant women, and examination of health services utilization within community-based programs providing health care to underserved children. Ms. Hogan uses both qualitative and quantitative methods in her research, including in-depth interviewing, comprehensive site visits, and statistical analysis of longitudinal studies and insurance claims data. In 2007, she completed a Master of Health Science degree with a Certificate in Health Disparities and Health Inequity at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. |
