Lisa Dubay ![]() Lisa Dubay, Ph.D., Sc. M is a health services researcher with over 20 years of experience in public health. Dr. Dubay recently joined the faculty at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Prior to this she was a Principal Research Associate at the Urban Institute where she focused on the effects of public policies on insurance coverage, access to care, and health outcomes for low-income populations. Dr. Dubay has led numerous national evaluations of public expansions in coverage for federal agencies and private foundations. Her dissertation examined socio-economic gradients and racial disparities in children’s health status and well being and their emotional and cognitive functioning.
