Sarale Sewell is a Regional Coordinator in the Metropolitan Housing and Communities Policy Center. Prior to joining UI, Ms. Sewell worked as the Education Specialist for the Fair Housing Council of Suburban Philadelphia. She was a member of several local county housing coalitions and task forces in the Philadelphia area that focused on a variety of housing issues, including fair housing, fair lending, homelessness, affordable housing, mortgage foreclosure, loan modification scams, poverty deconcentration, the availability of social services, and reform of subsidized housing programs. Ms. Sewell holds a M.A. in International Relations from the University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands (2004), and a B.A. in Political Science/International Relations from West Chester University of Pennsylvania (2000).
