Katherine Koopman is a Regional Coordinator with the Metropolitan Housing and Communities Policy Center. Since arriving at UI, Katie has focused on supporting various housing studies.
Katie graduated from Harvard with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology where her research predominantly focused on education, specifically the effects of race relations and gender on student performance. Katie has previously worked at Booz Allen Hamilton, focusing on disaster response and humanitarian assistance. She also served as an AmeriCorps volunteer with Somerville Community Corporation, an affordable housing and community organizing non-profit in Somerville, MA.
