Operational Manual for the Rehabilitation of Condominium Buildings in Romania: Outline of Proposed Contents (Research Report)

Financing Options for New and Existing Housing in Slovakia: Sector Investigation Report (Research Report)

The purpose of this program is to enable condominium associations formed in newly privatized buildings in Slovakia to undertake capital repairs, improvements, or additions to existing structures. The program aims to determine what constraints exist and the feasibility of eliminating them. This report examines financial, technical, and organizational aspects of potential participant condominiums in Slovakia. Demonstration sites were selected and specific project plans were designed. Existing institutional lending and other sources of capital and in-kind services were investigated. Also described are meetings with local government officials, bankers, and building professionals.
