In 1997, representatives from more than 40 local housing mobility programs, a few researchers, and several officials of Housing and Urban Development met in Washington, D.C., for the second national conference on assisted housing mobility. This volume describes existing mobility programs, highlights major issues that were discussed in depth by conference participants, and summarizes the conference discussion about the changing federal role in low-income housing and future prospects for housing mobility programs.
