Satisfaction With Urban Services and Local Democracy in Five Croatian Cities (Research Report)

This report summarizes baseline research on citizens' level of satisfaction with urban services and on the development of local democracy in five selected cities in Croatia. The main purpose of this project was to produce a statistical survey for the U.S. Agency for International Development's Strategic Objective 3, Improved Democratic Local Governance, and to indicate the major areas for possible technical-assistance projects. The report is based upon responses to two questionnaires administered through face-to-face or telephone interviews. The survey questions are appended to the report.
