The NSAF online statistical analysis system is a set of programs that allow researchers to perform Web-based analysis of NSAF data. The online system is easy to learn and use, is also relatively fast, usually providing results within seconds. The NSAF online system is based on the Survey Documentation and Analysis (SDA) software, which was developed by the Computer-assisted Survey Methods Program (CSM) at the University of California, Berkeley.

About the Research Use

When the NSAF data were obtained, a pledge of confidentiality was given to respondents. We need the help of all researchers who use this data to keep that pledge. This is why we have asked each of you to agree to make no attempt to identify any respondent and to employ the data provided for research purposes only. If you use the online analysis system you will be asked to obligate yourself as follows:
