Every KID COUNTS in the District of Columbia is an annual fact book providing comprehensive indicators of child well-being in Washington D.C., including data on population trends, economic security, family attachment, community support, homeless children and families, child health, safety and personal security, education, and selected indicators by ward, neighborhood cluster, region, race, and ethnicity.
Data and analysis for the Fact Book are provided by the Urban Institute, a partner agency in the D.C. Kids Count Collaborative for Children and Families.
