Rob Pitingolo

Rob Pitingolo is a Research Assistant with the Urban Institute’s Metropolitan Housing and Communities Policy Center. Since arriving at the Urban Institute in early 2011, he has contributed to projects studying the foreclosure crisis, concentrated poverty, school performance and mobility among residents in low-income neighborhoods. His work focuses both in D.C. and in other metro areas throughout the country.

Mr. Pitingolo graduated from John Carroll University in 2010 earning a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.  While at John Carroll, he worked part-time at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, studying the vacancy and abandonment problem plaguing urban neighborhoods throughout the Midwest.
