Lesley Freiman

 

Lesley Freiman is a Research Associate with the Urban Institute’s Metropolitan Housing and Communities Policy Center. Since her arrival at the Urban Institute, Ms. Freiman has worked on a range of policy topics including the well-being of children and youth in the District of Columbia and its neighborhoods, neighborhood income disparities nation-wide, and the role of demographic trends in future housing needs and opportunities. Ms. Freiman is currently working on a multi-year mixed method random assignment study to evaluate the impacts of a regional youth-serving nonprofit. She is also part of multiple research teams examining housing assistance programs that work in conjunction with social service provision, such as HUD’s Family Unification Program.

Ms. Freiman received a Masters of Public Policy from the University of Michigan’s Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy in 2009 and holds a Bachelor’s degree from Brown University.
