USAID Sustainable Urban Management (SUM II) IQC
Under the SUM II IQC, the UI consortium is providing short, medium and long-term advisory and assistance services responsive to the urban development needs of USAID Missions, Bureaus and operating units. The Urban Institute is the prime contractor for the UI SUM II IQC Consortium.
USAID Decentralized Democratic Local Governance (DDLG) IQC
Under DLG IQC, UI provides direct technical assistance and/or advisory and assistance services to host country institutions (both governmental and non-governmental) as requested by operational units of USAID to promote the transition to, and consolidation of, democracy and good local governance throughout the world. The Urban Institute is the prime contractor for the UI DDLG IQC Consortium.
USAID Encouraging Global Anticorruption and Good Governance Efforts (ENGAGE) IQC
UI is an active member in the consortium led by Chemonics International for ENGAGE IQC. The IQC covers a wide array of technical areas. UI’s main role in this IQC is to provide expertise in specific service areas which include – public sector management; institutional checks and balances; political accountability; public-private interface; civil society and the media; local governance and community empowerment; and cross-cutting issues like anti-corruption.
USAID Building Recovery and Reform Through Democratic Governance (BRDG) IQC
UI is an active member in the consortium led by Chemonics International for BRDG IQC. The BRDG IQC is USAID’s omnibus democracy and governance funding mechanism and, as such, its projects could cover a wide array of technical areas. UI has provided state-of-the-art expertise in the areas of legitimacy of state structure, public management, and strategic planning, policy, and institutional reform.
MCC Impact Evaluation Services IQC
The IQC includes assessment of MCC activities which include (i) evaluation of the impact of Millennium Challenge Account (MCA) assistance on poverty reduction; assessment of which interventions are likely candidates for evaluation during the proposal stage; data collection and training for randomized trials; and independent analysis of results. UI is a member of the consortium which is led by NORC.
USAID Transparency, Accountability and Performance (TAP) IQC
The purpose of this Transparency, Accountability, and Performance (TAP) contract is to strengthen performance management practices at USAID through Analytic Support, Training and Technical Assistance, and Communications Products and Information Management. The contract will support both Washington-based (USAID/W) and field-based USAID operating units. UI is an active member of the TAP IQC which is led by the Development & Training Services (DTS).
Global Business, Trade, and Investment Services II (GBTI II)
GBTI II focuses on devising and implementing robust strategies to promote real economic growth, reduce poverty, graduate transitional countries from aid to trade, promote open competitive markets, develop the private sector, and mobilize private financing sources to supplement and eventually replace development assistance. UI is a member of the Deloitte Consortium and is committed to provide a full range of services to USAID Missions and to USAID/Washington in substantially all major areas of business, trade, and investment development and reform.
