Elizabeth T. Boris is the founding director of the Center on Nonprofits and Philanthropy at the Urban Institute. Before joining UI in 1996, she was the director of the Aspen Institute's Nonprofit Sector Research Fund and was vice president for Research at the Council on Foundations.
Boris holds a Ph.D in political science from Rutgers University.
