Sweta Haldar is a research associate in the Income and Benefits Policy Center at the Urban Institute. She focuses on the Child Care and Development Fund Policies database and on the Transfer Income Model. She previously was a grant writer at a child and family services nonprofit in New York City and a research assistant within the Domestic Social Policy Division of the Congressional Research Service. Haldar received a bachelor’s in public policy from Princeton University and a master’s degree in health policy from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
