Nick Martire is a policy assistant in the Center on Labor, Human Services, and Population at the Urban Institute. His work focuses on wealth and financial well-being, and he is a core team member of the Financial Well-Being Data Hub. Before joining Urban, Martire worked at Fahe as an AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer focusing on affordable housing, broadband, and workforce development policy. He also worked as a finance assistant on US Senator Gary Peters’s successful 2020 reelection campaign. Martire received his BA in public policy from the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy at the University of Michigan.
