Help desk manager
My career centers on making information technology a tool for professionals to use and rely on to get their jobs done. Teaching people and managing help desk professionals are my two passions. The energy of the young researchers at Urban, along with the mentoring by senior fellows, creates the ideal working environment for any support person.
Joe Busch is a systems engineer and help desk manager in the Information Technology department at the Urban Institute. As leader of the help desk team, he endeavors to quickly respond to challenges and works to provide quality service that minimizes distractions to meaningful research. Urban’s Information Technology support team is in place to provide an environment that enables researchers to accomplish their goals, with tools that optimize creativity while maximizing security and productivity.
