Jay Dev is a research associate in the Metropolitan Housing and Communities Policy Center at the Urban Institute. His work focuses primarily on economic and community development, food security, data collection, and performance measurement and evaluation. He has been involved with the Promise Neighborhoods and Measure4Change initiatives, as well as the NeighborhoodInfo DC program. He previously worked on the Health Policy Center’s Health Insurance Policy Simulation Model (HIPSM), analyzing costs and coverage gains under the Affordable Care Act, among other health policy-related projects.
Dev earned a BA in economics and African and Afro-American studies from Brandeis University.
