Janae Ladet is a research associate in the Urban Institute’s Policy Advisory Group. She supports the JPMorgan Chase collaboration and other cross-disciplinary policy initiatives. Ladet works across policy centers with researchers on projects related to affordable housing, community development, workforce development, and financial opportunity.
Before joining Urban, Ladet was policy fellow for the City of Philadelphia, where she organized a creative finance and affordable housing work group to find new revenue sources and reallocate existing revenue to contribute to Philadelphia’s Housing Trust Fund. She has also worked for the Local Initiatives Support Corporation, Houston’s office on the organization’s Building Sustainable Communities program. Ladet also has experience in local campaigns, communications, and fund development.
Ladet earned her BS in political science from the University of Houston and her MPA from the University of Pennsylvania.
