Evelyn Hughes Williams is a senior human resources associate at the Urban Institute. She is experienced in all human resources functions and is currently focused on management of employee benefits, employee communications, and the human resources department’s information system and intranet.
In 2013, Williams received the Urban Institute President’s Award for Outstanding Management and Administration for her role in the Mercer EasyEnroll® Implementation project. That same year she earned certification as a professional in human resources from the HR Certification Institute.
Williams is pursuing a master's degree in management from The Catholic University of America and is expected to complete her studies in December 2016. In 2002, she earned her BS in business administration from Trinity College in Washington, DC, where she was awarded a scholarship from the American Association of University Women.
Williams is a notary public in the District of Columbia and holds professional memberships in the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans and the Society for Human Resource Management.
