Etienne Yonly is a senior contracts administrator in the Office of Grants, Contracts, Purchasing, & Pricing at the Urban Institute. In this capacity, he is responsible for contract negotiations and compliance oversight for the Justice Policy Center, the Urban-Brookings Tax Policy Center, the Center on International Development and Governance, and the Executive Office of Research.
Before joining Urban in 2012, Yonly was assistant director of finance and administration at the Institute of International Education. A native of Burkina Faso, he speaks French, Spanish, and three African languages. Yonly holds a master's degree in public administration and policy analysis and evaluation from The George Washington University's Trachtenberg School of Public Policy and Public Administration, a maitrise in economic analysis from the University of Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, and a master's certificate in government contracting from The George Washington University School of Business.
