I am grateful to lend a hand in Urban’s important work providing researchers, policymakers, and the public with the necessary information to make informed decisions concerning social safety net programs.

Ben Goehring was a research assistant in the Income and Benefits Policy Center at the Urban Institute, where he works with the Welfare Rules Database and TRIM3 Transfer Income Model. Previously, Goehring studied history and politics at the University of Oxford and conducted research on Temporary Assistance for Needy Families. Goehring received a BA in philosophy, political science, and economics from the George Washington University.
